A little about me….

Hi I’m Kim - a heart-centred teacher, intuitive guide, and woman who has spent her life helping others feel seen, valued, grounded, and worthy.

For over 30 years I’ve worked with children, families, and women, supporting them through the moments where life feels overwhelming, chaotic, or disconnected.

My gift has always been creating spaces where people can breathe again….. where they feel safe, heard, understood, and gently guided back to themselves.

Nature, animals, intuition, and lived experience shape everything I do.

Whether I’m walking by the river, riding along the beach, or sitting quietly with my animals, my work is always rooted in presence, compassion, and a deep belief that every person has an inner wisdom waiting to be remembered.

This space - Empowered Living with Kim - is simply an extension of that.

My Philosophy

At the core of my work is a simple, steady belief: every person deserves to feel seen, valued, safe, and worthy. I’m guided by intuition, compassion, and a deep understanding of how our early experiences shape the way we move through life.

My gift has always been helping others reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve forgotten - the quiet strength, the softness, the inner wisdom that knows the way.

I believe in nurturing, not pushing.

Grounding, not rushing.

Awakening, not overwhelming.

Whether I’m working with children, mothers, or women rebuilding their sense of self, my approach is always the same: to create a space where you feel held, understood, and supported as you gently return home to yourself.

How I Work

I create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what’s true for you.

Every session is guided by what I feel, sense, and see in your energy and body - the subtle cues, the unspoken emotions, the deeper layers asking to be heard.

I use grounding, breath, and intuitive insight to help you shift from overwhelm into clarity and calm.

Whether we work together online or in person, you will be met with compassion, steadiness, and the kind of listening that allows you to finally exhale.

There is no force, no pressure, no pushing - only guidance, awareness, and a gentle returning to yourself.

My Connection to Nature and Animals

A paved road running through a lush green forest with trees on both sides, and a black dog walking along the left side of the road.
Person swimming in a shallow river with rocks on the shore, surrounded by green trees under a clear blue sky.
Sunset over the ocean with reflections on the water, sandy beach in the foreground, and a line of trees in the distance.

Nature is where I come home to myself.

The river, the trees, the wide open sky, the morning or evening light - this has always been where I find clarity, strength, and grounding.

Animals have always been some of my greatest teachers.
They have shown me trust, presence, gentleness, and the quiet language beneath words.

They remind me daily that healing doesn’t need to be loud - it can be subtle, steady, and deeply felt.

My work is shaped by what the natural world teaches me: to pause, to breathe, to listen, and move from a place of inner truth

My Lived Experience

Like many woman, I’ve walked through seasons that have stretched me, reshaped me, and revealed strengths I didn’t even know I had.

These experiences have deepened my compassion, softened my edges, and expanded my understanding of what it means to lose yourself - and find your way home again.

My healing has not been loud or dramatic.

It has been steady, intentional, and rooted in small, powerful moments of clarity. Moments where I chose myself, listened to my intuition, and honoured what my body and heart were asking for.

Because of this, I can sit with others in their overwhelm, uncertainty, exhaustion, or rebuilding.

I don’t guide from theory - I guide from lived truth.

From a place of knowing what it feel like to rise after being tested, and what it means to become stronger, softer, and more whole than before.

My Background

I’ve spent over 30 years working with children, families, and women - supporting emotional well-being, confidence, and a healthy development. My approach has always been intuitive, trauma-informed, and grounded in deep listening.

Before creating this space, I worked as a Preschool teacher, facilitated parent programs, and supported children with diverse needs. These experiences taught me patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of how our early years shape our sense of worth and identity.

Alongside my teaching background, I’ve completed Shamanic Energy Practitioner training, intuitive development work, and trauma aware support practices. These studies help me tune into the subtle layers beneath the words - the energetic, emotional, and somatic patterns that guide healing from the inside out.

I bring together lived experience, professional training, and deep connection with nature to create a space that is gentle, grounded, and transformational.

a gentle note from me…..

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

You don’t need to be ‘ready’.

You just need to be ready to make the first step.

When you’re ready, I’d be honoured to support you.

If you feel a quiet ‘yes’ inside, I’d love to walk this next chapter with you.
